Unit Conclusion: Plate Tectonics
Happy Friday Everyone!
We have finally come to the end of our unit on Plate Tectonics. We will have a test on Volcanoes this upcoming Friday. Please study your vocabulary words, Magma flow through a volcano, and the parts of a volcano. Please review how volcanoes are formed, and how volcanoes relate to earthquakes.

Good day parents and students,
Social Studies is well into its studies on our northern neighbors, Canada. We have done a couple of activities related to Canadian geography and history. We will be going into Latin American geography and history in about 1 or 2 more weeks. This will include the Spanish speaking countries of Central and South America.
Also, on another note, the 6th grade would be grateful for any types of hand soap (small or large), kleenex, and toilet tissue, that could be donated to the school. Due to the hardships that touch so many of us during these rough economic times, donations to the school are most helpful and very welcome. Thank you for your continued support, patience, and dedication to children and their education.
p.s. We should have an update on 6th grade report cards coming this afternoon. Check back later please.
