Moving along.

Hi 6th grade students and parents. I hope the break was an enjoyable one for all. This week we will be learning about the Industrial Revolution, Imperial Russia, and World Wars I and II. If you have the opportunity in the following days, do some of your own research on any of these topics. This isn't an assignment that you need to turn in or write down. It is just so you can gain some additional knowledge of the things that we are going to be learning in class. All you need to do is read, or listen, to a little bit of information on these topics if you see them somewhere (i.e. the internet, magazines, a television show). In this way, you are learning without even studying, and when it comes time for a test, you know more than you might think. Have fun and I'm looking forward to seeing all of you Monday morning.

Hey,
Hi Mr. Angelle, did you post this yestarday? Well anywho, even though you may have posted this yestarday, today was a fun social studies lesson about the Industrial Revolution. The Industrial Revolution was a period in the late 18th and early 19th centuries when major changes in agriculture, manufacturing, and transportation. Or a time in England when people started to industrialize. I think that I like this part of Social Studies because we are learning about other industries and mills.Keep on teaching like the great teacher you are and don't let us stop having fun. You are a fun teacher and nice teacher and I am enjoying every minute of your class.

P.S.: Even though you said that the research wasn't an assignment, can I turn in some information for extra credit? I may need it.
Sincerely, Genae
