Not For the Weak at Heart: Treeman

Hello 6th graders!

The following links tell the story of Dede. He has a rare skin disease that produces warts with rootlike growths extending from them. He has been alienated from his family, and ridiculed in his village. Leave your thoughts and comments below.

WOW! I saw that on t.v. while on break. It was really sad. I hope that he gets better soon. The sad part is being away from family.

That's so sad, Iwonder what caused this disease to spread through his body. What is the name of that disease?

Dear Ms. Bynoe,

I saw Dede on T.V on Animal Planet once. I felt so sorry for him. It must be horable being away from family. I hope someone finds a cure to his disease and his disease will go away.

Sincerely,
Nigel Thompson
